BROADBAND & NETWORK SERVICES
3 Mills Studios is able to provide high bandwidth networking facilities throughout the site across its Fibre and CAT5 backbone. These services are managed by our Technical Manager who work closely with clients to ensure that their requirements and site specific needs are accounted for prior to occupation. The design of our infrastructure allows maximum flexibility and can accommodate single user clients though to large productions.
Our external Broadband is provided by a leading industry ISP, SohoNet. With a secure ultra-high-speed connectivity of up to 1 Gb per second, uncompressed data can be quickly and easily transferred to any location worldwide. It also allows clients to connect to and liaise with the SohoNet client network and all subscribers on the system, including Warner Brothers, Technicolor, HBO, The Mill and Framestore CFC.
Along with the transmission of full-bandwidth data, audio and moving imagery, SohoNet also provides fast and flexible Internet access, e-mail and a fully managed firewall service.
TELEPHONY
3 Mills Studios recently upgraded its Telephony systems. Our new IP phone system has doubled our network infrastructure and provides more facilities to our clients with greater flexibility. We are able to provide services to cater for voice and data using the latest technologies. Digital handsets with built-in network ports for PC Internet connectivity, analogue services for Fax machines and other legacy devices and ISDN II are some of the facilities available. Additionally, this feature rich system enables us to deliver ever increasing levels of service and flexibility to our client base while maintaining high service standards.
